This year marks the 50th Annual Yuengling Shamrock Marathon at the Virginia Beach oceanfront. A St. Paddy’s Day tradition, the Shamrock Marathon takes place March 18-20, 2022, and has something to offer for all levels of runners including a marathon, a half marathon, an 8K, and multiple different challenges taking place over the course of the weekend. Before the races begin make sure to check out the Sports & Fitness Expo at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. The expo includes race packet pickup, the Official Shamrock Store, as well as multiple sports-minded vendors. After the races stick around for the Finish Line Celebration where you’ll hear live music as well as enjoy traditional Irish food and refreshments. Need a place to stay during the race weekend?
