A Guide to the Rudee Inlet

At the south end of the Virginia Beach Resort Area the calm water of Rudee Inlet sparkles in the sun, waiting to tempt you with a variety of water activities and amazing food. If you are looking for something close, where you are able to spend hours having fun with your friends and family then look no further!

If your family wants to enjoy the open water and beautiful summer weather, you can rent jet skis or paddle boards and spend the day on your own adventure, exploring the ocean front area for some wave action or taking it easy and exploring the quiet waterways of the Inlet. Then hit the heights on a parasailing trip with Adventure Parasail! It's hard to find a better view of the Virginia Beach ocean front!

If fishing is more your thing, Rudee Inlet is still the place to go! Providing an abundance of deep sea charters as well as fresh water destinations, you'll be sure to catch a fish worth mounting over your mantle. You can also join one of the dolphin watching cruises on the Rudee Flipper and see the dolphins and other wildlife.

Rudee Inlet is also home to two of the best restaurants in Virginia Beach. Rockafellar's Restaurant and Rudee's on the Inlet. Both offer amazing views of the Inlet and marina, and fresh catches from local waters. You don't want to miss Thursday nights at Rockafellars, they have a two for one lobster special that can't be beat, and the barbecue shrimp is amazing.

Rudee's is famous for their raw bar and you shouldn't miss the Sunday Funday specials they have out on the waterfront cabana. A perfect way to spend a day in Virginia Beach!
