The Harshaw Beach House is an oceanfront home offering beautiful views of the vast beach dunes and the Atlantic Ocean. If you don't feel like spending the day relaxing on the beach you can take the short drive to the exciting resort area. You can rent bikes or take a stroll along the oceanfront boardwalk. Spend the day shopping, jet skiing or parasailing whatever activities your family enjoys! The Harshaw Beach House offers W/D, DW, DVD, wireless internet, ceiling fans, central air, a gas grill, a home phone and a deck. 1 full bath main living level, 1 half bath on the top floor. 1 half bath in the garage of the house - 2 showers in the garage (fully enclosed with h/c water). First Landing State Park access is across the road on 64th Street where you can go bay fishing and crabbing.

Overall

We love the Harshaw house! It is the perfect beach property for a family of 8 adults and 9 grandchildren. The quiet location between 63rd and 64th is convenient and peaceful. We do wish there was another full bath, but for a week with family , it works great. The 2 showers in the basement/ garage / corn hole field work well for all our grandsons. The house is well equipped. We love the front porch and the lovely picture window that offers a terrific look at the dunes and the sky above the sea beyond! We will return! Mary Bruner

Overall

We loved the Harshaw house. It was conveniently located with private access to the beach—plenty of room for our big family vacation, and we loved all the history of the house. The only piece of feedback I could give, would be to put up more historical literature around the house to read: we loved piecing together the history of this house and we hope to come back soon!

The little cation of the house was great. Check in was very efficient. There were 8 of us staying here and we were very comfortable. The house is older but very charming.

Great location. Family enjoyed convenience. Would prefer no carpet in main area. Otherwise suited us just fine! Will rent again.

Our family loved the house. It is very old-fashioned which we tend to like better than something more modern. That being said, the fact that there is only one full bath in the house was somewhat of a challenge and we wish there was an outdoor shower!!!

My family of 3 adult couples and 9 grandchildren love this house! It is very livable and perfect if you want a short walk to the beach for children … and aging grandparents .The inclusion of linens in the rental rate was a real treat this year! Thank you!
