Second Stay at Coral Beach House

A little different then our first stay there a few years ago. Most of the carpet was replaced with an uneven floor. The kids reported stepping on what I believe to be tack nails used on the carpet on the stairs. A lot of ant traps throughout. We never saw any ants. None of these would prevent us from returning (more of a note to the owner). The layout of this place is one of the best in VA beach for a large family. The kitchen has always been extremely well kept and stocked with pots, pans, silverware, etc... The bedrooms are more than accommodating, however, some of the beds are very high and challenging to get into. HVAC, internet, and TV work with no problems. There are plenty of chairs and skim boards. The only things missing would be a grill outside, a beach cart for hauling things (the one there is broken), and a more accommodating place to rinse off after the beach. Parking for two cars off street is great and we absolutely love them providing the bath towels and linens.

A really nice homey place with a lot of pluses but in need of some small maintenance items to be addressed. Spacious kitchen, dining and family rooms and bedrooms are good sized. Felt that the tubs needed upgrading though. Surprisingly quiet though right off Atlantic and on the east side so you're very near the beach boardwalk without having to cross big roads!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Coral Beach House. The layout was perfect for our family vacation. There was plenty of room for all three generations to be together, as well as room for privacy when desired. It would have been nice to have a tv in one of the downstairs rooms, so the kids could watch their movies at bedtime, but we all watched together in the Great room, which worked out just fine!. The outdoor decks were delightful, although the plastic chairs we used for the top deck need to be replaced. The decor was nice and comfortable, The kitchen was well equipped, and there was a closet full of board games, which was a nice surprise. No need to bring beach chairs, cart, buckets, umbrella or boogie boards as there were plenty provided. We could not have asked for a better house for our week at the beach, and look forward to visiting the Coral Beach House again!

The house was amazing. Dislikes the whole rental linen thing. But I get it COVID sucks… the TVs were hit or miss. You have been very helpful with items I left behind… mom brain… thank you again!!
