The well-stocked kitchen includes a new microwave, a new stove, a NEW refrigerator, and a wok for the chef in your family.  Throughout the home, new lighting fixtures have been installed offering a bright and cheery atmosphere, lovely updated comforters, and newly updated whimsical decor that will add to your vacation enjoyment.   It has a spacious living room and a separate dining area in the enclosed sun porch where you can enjoy family meals together while overlooking the backyard. Being only two houses from the beach makes this the perfect location to lay out, enjoying the sand and surf all day. If you're looking for more to do, take the short drive into the exciting resort area where you will find multiple restaurants, shopping, live entertainment, and so much more! While there, why not explore Virginia Beach's famous 3-mile-long boardwalk? The house is eight blocks from an entrance to the First Landing State Park, where you will find walking and biking trails shaded by pine trees and where Blackbeard the Pirate hung out) . We had a fun week with three generations of family assembled. Proximity to the beach was key for moms and toddlers' schedules. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking gear and we used everything. House needs a fat-tire beach cart. We will be back!

Great Stay at Atlantic Haven

We had a wonderful stay at Atlantic Haven. It has a great location very close to the beach and the house was perfect for our needs. All of the rooms were larger than I expected. The decor isn't updated, but it has a retro charm to it. (Love the lamps in the master bedroom.) It has an outdoor shower that I didn't see mentioned in the the description, which was nice.

We truly enjoyed this home. It was perfect for 6 children. Everything worked well. It was clean. The children and parents enoyed the backyard, the grills, and the close proximity to the beach. I was so impressed with Atkinson Realty. We had a small crisis when my son lost his keys and we couldn't get back in the house. The agent that went out of her way to deliver some keys to Ocean Sands was so kind and thoughtful. Luckily the keys were found. I will always use Atkinson Realty if I need to rent a house in VA Beach. We truly loved our stay.
